Where Does The Best Design Creations Come From
Have you ever wondered where designers like Tom Ford, Donatella Versace, Ralf Lauren and Stella McCartney find inspiration? I have often wondered how designers can come up with the latest designer fashion trends almost out of thin air sometimes. And they create new designer clothes and accessories like handmade leather handbags year after year. Some designs may not be commercial hits but they have their admirers. Needless to say, movie stars and other celebrities make up the bulk of those who don, or more importantly, are able to afford such extravagant clothing.
Designers can be very abstract in their designs. Some are inspired by particular colors, others by are inspired by lifestyles and there are even others who are inspired by styles of a different era. But the process of converting all this inspiration into a form of wearable art is simply amazing sometimes. From skimpy lingerie to office wear, people are always looking for something unique.
There are occasions when you can’t tell where the designer is coming from but there are also times when it is quite clear where a certain designer finds inspiration. For example, it was obvious that J-Zhu got his inspiration from other worldly subjects judging by his collection at China’s fashion week recently. Of course the collection was not something one could wear to the office, a gala dinner or even in public. In fact, the collection looked more like something a mummy would be buried in. Nevertheless, the creativity of the young designer cannot be questioned and I for one can’t wait for him to design something more terrestrial for us humans to don.
Anyone recall the movie The Fifth Element? A certain celebrated French fashion designer by the name of Jean-Paul Gaultier designed an mind blowing 954 costumes for the film. The designs certainly fit into the whole futuristic theme of the movie but it wasn’t surprising that fashionistas the world over did not pick up on the outrageous fashion cues. Still, the mind boggles at such creativity. And it wasn’t just the costumes. Even the hair styles were out of this world – pun intended. Especially eye catching was Chris Tucker’s cylindrical shaped hairdo. Sure it looked more liked birds should be laying eggs in it than a hair style but who would have thought of such a design.
Sometimes though, it does seem as though designers are going through a dry spell. How many times have we read that reducing the length of a skirt by an inch is the new look for next summer’s collection. But the moment word gets out, fashion sites are plastered with the latest looks with models donning skirts an inch shorter than last season’s. To the eye of the layman, it makes no difference. But to some fashionistas, they wouldn’t be caught dead in passé fashion.
Everyone loves to dress up and look cool, chic and stylish. And so, there is a huge demand for such clothing because they can really make us look beautiful. It is not however always that easy to make a purchase as many people find out to their great dismay. There are many who prefer to buy online – they find it more convenient to do so. Thus, buying designer fashion online has become very popular off late.
Fortunately, there are a lot of websites that sell designer dress items. However it is important to know that some of these websites are better avoided because they are in the habit of charging extra from their customers. A wide variety of designer dress items are available on the Internet, thus making your task relatively easier. There is so much available online that you will find something that is just right for all kinds of consumer taste and preferences. So just spend a moment browsing through the selection and considering the price to find something that you like.
Another attractive feature of designer fashions online are the significant discounts that are often offered. Thus, there is no need anymore to spend a fortune when you want to get yourself a designer dress. Before actually buying any of the products that are available, you will need to get as much information about them as possible – this will help you arrive at the right purchase decision. Often, designer clothing can be costly – so get informed about what you are buying. You will find this information absolutely crucial when you are buying them on the Internet.
Online designer dresses are available for both men and women. Blazers, denims, skirts and coats are some of the most popular things among women. Shirts, blouses, blazers and tops also find great favor. And not only the dress, you will find many accessories too. Some of the most popular accessories are shoes, belts and handbags. Designer dresses for men are also available online. Shirts, jeans, blazers and jackets are some of these items. Then there are suits, sweaters and t-shirts that many men want as well. Among designer accessories for gents, there are belts, cufflinks, ties and sunglasses that are sold in high numbers.
Consumers all over the world have found these designer fashion online shopping and their demand has also gone up tremendously. The discounts that are often offered can be of great help as well.

Male Fashion – Male Ties & Choosing The Right Tie
With a return to a classic look in this year’s line of men’s designer fashion and an budding appeal of younger men to look professional, the tie could be set for a big impression. It is an important part of the overall image when seeking the professional look and an excellent way to accessories you clothes. Consequently, there are some important tips in ensuring that you make the best choice of tie when seeking to match it with your over all look.
Colour is the fundamental point when picking a tie and it is essential to get it right otherwise you could be a fashion disaster. The base colour of the tie should match the base colour of the shirt that it is paired with and if it has a pattern, the secondary colour is called the accent colour.
This should compliment the colour of the suit that it is being paired with if you are in fact wearing one. With silvers, taupe and beige being the colours for 2009 you have a wide range of options when selecting a tie, and one with a stripe would be a good choice as these are also making a come back this year.
Pattern ties are often a good way of pulling the entire look together as you can select ties with colours that you can match with more aspects of your overall image.
So, should you go for a pattern or plain tie? Well the rule of thumb is that if you are wearing a patterned shirt then stick to a plain tie and visa versa.
Solid coloured ties are the most versatile and yet pattern ties as already mentioned are attractive for picking out and tying in many parts of your look.
When it comes to patterned ties, striped ties are possibly the best option of any because they are generally more classical and conservative. Stripes are a good way to pull together the entire look and can sometimes be more interesting than other pattern designs.
Colours and patterns are not the only consideration and the final and possibly most essential consideration is the quality of the tie in terms of both looks and feel. A tie is such an important feature of the professional and elegant look that you risk ruining the whole effect by not taking the time to pick a quality tie.
Cheap ties stick out like a sore thumb and I would strongly recommend that you wear nothing if you can not afford to go for quality. A good tie will generally be made from silk and I personally would not consider anything other than a silk tie.
The material is essential for many reasons, not just because of the obvious look of material, but also because a quality material like silk will be easier to tie and you will get a much better knot.
Overall, it is essential to go for a good quality silk tie, matching either a solid coloured tie with patterned shirts or patterned ties, such as a strip that has complimentary base and accent colours that match the shirt and suit.
